JV Black played in the Crosstown High Invitational Play Day on Saturday, Aug. 5th, and chalked multiple sets in the ”win” column!
It was a bit of a rocky start but the Tigers pulled off two wins against Kingsbury Lady Falcons Varsity.
From there they moved on to battle the Crosstown High Varsity Yetis. Despite their wins against the Lady Falcons the girls struggled against an intimidating jump serve, loosing the first set.

The 2nd set found the Tigers down 19-16 when they won back the serve, coming from behind to win 25-19! The third set did not go as well but the girls played hard!

The final match of the day had the Tigers up against the Kingsbury Lady Falcons Junior Varsity. SCHS again pulled out the first two sets.
All in all, a great day for our 14u team as they start their season in the win column!
